BUCU (Brunel University Christian Union) is a group of Christians on campus who exist to “Know Christ and make Christ known”. We meet each week in the Meeting House, 7:30pm on a Tuesday, primarily to enjoy time looking at and exploring God’s word together, as we try to work out how best to live as Christians on campus. After our time of worship and a talk, we have refreshments and then head over to Locos/Yardbird/somewhere to have some social time. Our meetings are also a great time to meet others and hang out with one another; we’re multidenominational and actively encourage people exploring faith, so absolutely anyone is welcome!
We also hold our Coffee Stall every Friday night outside Academy, serving free hot drinks and biscuits to people coming out of Academy. Come and have a chat with us, we really enjoy talking to people!
We regularly hold outreach events on campus where we do things to engage in discussion with people seeking answers. In the past, we have given out free food (pancakes, cookies, toasties, mince pies and more!), held Lunch Bars where you can come and ask questions and have a free lunch, have Acoustic Nights somewhere on Brunel’s campus, and loads more!
